The Isla Bralette Birdsong is a medium support bralette made from upcycled fabric. Featuring hummingbirds and tropical flowers.
Why it’s sustainable: Upcycled fabric means new, but scrap fabric that would otherwise have gone into a landfill. It is digitally printed with water soluble inks. The digital printing process saves water because instead of being dyed, we print it using a computer and a printer so less contaminated water goes back into our rivers and streams.
Why it’s ethical: Made in small factory owned by a mother and daughter team that employs only single mothers and women heads of households. As with all Naja factories, we pay above market wages and ensure that our workers have proper healthcare and employee benefits.
Why we love the fit: The Isla Bralette is made with two layers of fabric. A soft stretchy out fabric that has a little shine and feels luxurious, and a soft stretchy inner athletic mesh that gives you extra support.
Fabric: 84% Polyester, 16% Spandex
Mesh: 90% Nylon, 10% Spandex
We believe in caring for our environment and in the preservation of a clean ecosystem for all of its living beings. As a result, we make every effort to reduce our environmental footprint. We use digital and sublimation printing technologies to print our garments because they are the most environmentally friendly processes for creating printed fabric. Billions of gallons of water are used each year to dye fabric for the garment industry. With digital printing, our water waste is next to none. We strive to include fabrics made from recycled plastic bottles in each of our collections and we are constantly in search of new fabrics and technologies that are good for the earth and good for you.
